Paul Garcia
Founder and Principal

Mr. Garcia has experience in a broad spectrum of cases including non-subscriber, professional liability, personal injury (from slip & fall to death), premises liability, commercial/private vehicular accidents, residential mold, toxic chemical exposure, food contamination, property damage and construction defect matters (both commercial and residential). He has received favorable jury verdicts in both state and federal courts and has successfully defended clients in a variety of Texas counties that are typically considered “plaintiff-friendly” venues.

Clarkson F. Brown
Partner

Mr. Brown has extensive experience as lead attorney for a diverse practice including non-subscriber, personal injury, premises liability, vehicle accidents, wrongful death, insurance defense, government law, federal civil rights, employment law (EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, ADA) and all other matters required in representing a large entity with high risk exposure. This involves researching and drafting legal memoranda, motions, appellate briefs, discovery and the vast variety of documents necessary for state and federal litigation and arbitration. He is adept at case development and assessment through extensive experience in witness interviews, depositions, risk analysis and following jury and judicial trends. Clark has negotiated settlements from routine tort and employment claims through high value matters including including catastrophic injury and death.

Priscilla A. Dupre
​​Associate

Ms. Dupré worked as an intern for the Honorable Judge Harvey Brown, in the 152nd District Court in Houston, Texas. She also interned for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Welfare Fraud Division. Ms. Dupré then worked for Burrow & Parrott, LLP as an associate and was then a staff attorney for Davis & Davis in Houston, Texas. Ms. Dupré is now with Paul Garcia & Associates, PC. ​

Steven C. Buiton, Esq. 

​Mr. Buitron, a San Antonio native, practices primarily in the areas of, divorce, probate, and estate planning.  He has significant trial experience and works relentlessly to obtain the best results possible for his clients.

Education:
Mr. Buitron completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, followed by a Master's degree in Public Administration and later a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law.

​Experience:
 Prior to entering private practice, he spent many years as a professor, teaching Business Law and Political Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Wayland Baptist University and Cayuga Community College in Fulton, New York.

Affiliations:
Mr. Buitron is an active member of both the Texas and New York State Bar Associations.  In addition to state courts, he is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in Texas and New York, the US Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

Sela Garcia
​​Associate
Ms. Sela Anise Garcia grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University where she
graduated with a Bachelor of Art Degree in English with a minor in psychology. She was the head of marketing for TCU’s Autism Speaks chapter and volunteered with Kinder Frogs, TCU’s early childhood education program serving children with disabilities. She also had poetry published with the English department’s online journal and studied abroad in London through the department’s “Reading as a Writer” Program. During her time at TCU, Sela was active in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.

After graduating, Sela went on to complete her Doctor of Jurisprudence at Cecil C. Humphreys
School of Law at The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. There, she was
involved in varying student organizations. She worked with the Memphis’ Street Law program, where she taught criminal justice courses at inner city high schools every week. She also worked as
a track leader for Memphis’ Alternative Spring Break Program, helping veterans in the area with their VA benefits, leading to a nomination for the school’s Rodney K. Smith Pro Bono Service
Award. She also served as a member of the Moot Court Board. During her third year, her and her
partner placed second in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Moot Court
Competition sponsored by the New York Law School.
